The Merino Holiday Village and Camping is situated at 7 km from Vieste, in the bay of Santa Maria di Merino, the centre of one of the loveliest beaches in the Gargano area, surrounded by cliffs, with fine soft sand that slopes gradually down to the crystalline sea. The Camping village takes its name from the Roman town of Merinum from the year 63BC, which is just 100 meters away, and the nearby Paleochristian necropolis of the same name. Immersed in the luxuriant vegetation of pine, eucalyptus and olive trees, the Camping Village occupies a total area of around 50,000 square meters.
